Since late September, Russia has been drafting civilians for the war against Ukraine. Around 300.000 new soldiers were reportedly sent to the front line. But around one million Russians have fled their home country so far, in objection to Putin’s ambitions in Ukraine. We spoke with three of them, who undertook a risky journey to leave Russia and found a home in exile in Georgia in the South Caucasus.
